Geopad is a Shopify app built by Apex Orbis Ltd (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what you control.

What we collect

When you install the Geopad Shopify app, we access product, collection, and content data through Shopify's Admin API — only the scopes you approve at install. We store the output of AI-generated suggestions and the history of changes you publish through the app (the catalog change ledger). We do not collect customer personal data, order data, or payment information unless you explicitly enable optional features that require those scopes.

Why we collect it

To score your catalog against catalog-intelligence signals, generate remediation suggestions, publish approved changes back to your store, and benchmark your catalog (anonymously and in aggregate) against similar merchants.

Third parties

Geopad uses Anthropic's Claude API for AI generation, Railway for application hosting, and PostgreSQL for data storage. These providers act as data processors. We do not sell your data.

Your rights

You can request data export, deletion, or correction by emailing hello@geopad.ai. Uninstalling the app triggers Shopify's standard data deletion flow, with full removal within 30 days unless you request retention.

We will update this policy as the product evolves. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change.
